Are you ready for an authentic tour experience?
You’ll find a warm welcome awaiting you by Graham, your local Orcadian tour guide and history teacher who is hugely passionate about Orkney’s distinctive heritage- and he would love to share his deep, intimate knowledge of Orkney with you.
During your visit to Orkney, you will explore some of Orkney’s must-see attractions and areas of outstanding natural beauty. You will travel into the heart of Neolithic Orkney, to see the islands’ UNSECO World Heritage sites, like Skara Brae and the Ring of Brodgar before heading to Scapa Flow, to visit the iconic Italian Chapel and the Churchill barriers.
Where does the Orkney Highlights tour leave?
Your vessel will berth at either Hatston Pier – Orkney’s main cruise ship terminal .
It may also anchor within Kirkwall Bay, with tenders providing transport between your ship and Kirkwall Harbour.
Hatston Pier: On arrival to the pier, after you disembark from the ship, please let the Meet & Greet Staff on the pier know you are on a private Orkney tour with Graham. Your guide, Graham, will be called onto the pier to pick you up.
Kirkwall Pier (Anchorage): After you disembark from the tender boat, your guide, Graham, will meet you as you come up the pier and take you to your vehicle. If you miss each other, the Meet & Greet Staff on the pier will help and direct you to us.
Where does the tour end?
Your Orkney tour ends in Kirkwall: you will have the option of either being dropped off at your ship or you may wish to explore the historic streets and shops of Kirkwall and return to your ship by using the regular free shuttle service between the travel centre and your ship berthed at Hatston port.
What happens if my cruise ship cancels its visit due to bad weather?
