What to expect?

We will set off from your accommodation or the cruise pier and embark on your bespoke tour, stopping wherever takes our fancy as well as at the iconic sites. As a lifelong islander and history teacher, my goal is to help you truly connect with the authentic Orkney.

Private tours are deliberately unhurried. If you want to linger at Skara Brae, we linger. If the light is doing something spectacular at the Ring of Brodgar, we stop. We might pull over by a quiet field just so I can show you exactly how our traditional drystone walls were crafted or pause at a local eatery to sample fresh Orkney produce. You have my undivided attention, the vehicle, and the islands to yourselves—there is no group to keep up with, and no rigid schedule to stick to.

Please note that all prices are dependent on tour preferences/requirements and are on request. All prices are for the vehicle and guide and include pick-ups and drop-offs for up to eight passengers and entrance fees where indicated. Lunches, drinks, and refreshments are not included in your tour fee.
