For our 3 day stay on Burray, we were lucky enough to be able to get the full day Quitessential tour with Graham. We had an amazing day with Graham who showed us the many Neolithic sites as well as the impressive beauty of Orkney’s ‘mainland’ nature and wildlife while providing us with his inside knowledge of the Orkney’s. Graham is a very friendly, polite and knowledgeable man and a safe driver with a modern van. We would highly recommend this tour and Graham as your tour guide! We had an amazing day!

The day we spent with Graham was the highlight of our trip to Orkney. There were 3 of us and it was lovely having a personalized experience. Seeing the island, hearing it’s history from a historian both WW1 & 2 as well as Neolithic made it so interesting. We covered a lot of ground in Graham’s extremely comfortable 8 seater and he was very flexible about where we stopped. We saw some interesting animals, birds and flowers as well as breathtaking scenery. We can’t recommend his tours highly enough.

We didn’t have a plan when we landed at Kirkwall today. I saw Graham near the visitor center and our unplanned wandering turned into the most delightful “walk about” around this lovely town with wonderful, funny and quirky stories from Graham. If you make it to the Orkney Islands, you must find Graham and go for a walk!

My husband and I have just had two amazing days with Graham showing and guiding us around Orkney. From the moment we were picked up in his comfortable eight seater van Graham was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He tempered his guiding to our requirements with the flexibility and listening skills that made us feel that nothing was too much trouble.
